I meet a spirit, at last

I have traveled a lot in the ordinary way. You know how it is: one enters an airplane in one world and step off in another. The time between is like being nowhere.

This morning on the couch, I traveled from Japan to Europe in order to meet an enemy from the past that once tried to hurt me. It was the same basic principle of travel. I went through a kind of vacuum and ended up in another world. The difference was that I physically did not leave the couch.

Freising, Germany. Sleeping in the town of bears

We went southward by an airplane run by Augsburg Airlines. I was sure we were going to Munich and we landed there. But I woke up in a town with bears.

Leaving for Tokyo!

The reorganization goes on. Nothing can stop it and the fleet will never become the same again. For now, many people don’t know where they belong. I know though. My new base will be Tokyo.

Norway, Oslo. Meeting Swan Lake and Gustav Vigeland

They have built a fantastic opera house in Oslo. It looks like a ski slope. We went there to watch Swan Lake. The show was great and the town rich. We walked around, wondering why they let this Gustav Vigeland run wild in the big park.

Streets of Barcelona

I went down to Barcelona for work – a good place for a October two-days-meeting. I stayed at hotel close to Plaça de Catalunya at the upper side of Las Ramblas. Not much time for looking around but I got some shoots at the old town before dinner the first day and after breakfast the second.

US northwest mountains: The day Helen spoke out.

I didn’t know there were so many beautiful peaks west of the Rocky Mountains. Not long ago, one of the big ones in the north went completely mad. In indiscriminate fury, she killed 7000 animals and broke 27 bridges. Her name was St. Helen.
